Who (Does what) ?
Sid (Eldritch)
Well, Sid is doing a masters in something very scientific. He does this in Leeds. He reads a
lot of very odd books and knows a lot of very long words. He has a hat and some sun glasses.
In his spare time he plays the bass guitar astonishingly wellwith Capyain Rik in Exploding Kid. Sid knows
a lot of Sisters songs. When asked what he would like to say about himself he said " I enjoy bareback fridge riding
and have never eaten anything bigger than my own head."
OLD NEWS: Sid passed all his exams and got a job in London. Sadly he decided to end his tenure with The Smurphs, Things
will never be the same again.
Aha! But no, the planets have aligned, they just couldnt keep us all apart SID IS BACK and will take his place again
at the head of the mighty smoke and floods machine he made his own.
Paddy (Guitars and Programming)
I live in Huddersfield and work in Leeds. I worked for a computer games company
which was cool for a while, then i worked for funky corporate "ninjitsu" (ouch) and now i work for one of
the devils advocates (an ISP to you and me). I play guitar and write in several bands including up and coming origionals
Grinn, and run the Smurphs. Sci Fi is always a passion whatever the media,
reading is now a problem due to time constraints. Mini disk and DVD are my formats of choice.
I dont have an attitude problem, other people have a perception problem.
Mark (High Altitude Bass)
Mark is tall. Mark loves rock and roll and motorcycles. Over the past year he has been given to sonically documenting
various bands, and has become quite adept at this. Mark also plays in several bands including Grinn and
Stricken
Ian (Rhythm Guitar Shredder)
Ian writes songs, sings them, plays guitar and leads bands, see Grinn. In our case he
rocks in a cool sillouetted Sisters stylee and adds presense to the floodlights and smoke we live in. He and i have had
somewhat of a Van Halen/Roth relationship in the past.... i would hesitate to say who was who. Ian has been known to worship
at the alter of the machine (mclaren/James/his own bad self) and is currently Grinn'ing a lot
Mya (Ofra Haza type Visionary Thing!)
Mya has rather a good (see; fucking superb !) singing voice. As well as backing singing she provides the
audience with something hitherto not seen,.... a good looking band member. Shes the only one of us with
any chance of getting anyware in the music business. Mya's further adventures can be followed here
with Stricken.

Rob (Rhombus Plank Spanker)
Whenever Ian has another baby or is in a foreign country, erstwhile guitar hero Rob fills his stage area! Rob usually plays
more tasteful clean arpegios for Rhombus, we allow his baser instincts to take over. Rob is Dianas best friend and only accepts
Mr Kiplings as far as pies go.
Diana (Sexygoth ?!?!?!)
We needed a direct understudy for Mya due to her time constraints, and a worldwide search (involving many helicopters, PI's and
the like) ensude. We found Diana languishing in the Heartland Forums.
She was in danger of becoming a hippie..... we put a stop to that. Oh yeah...... and wait till you hear her voice.
Jen (Backing backup POWER!)
We were without an Ofra Haza, and with 3 days to go discovered another! Jen stood in and did what we thought would be
impossible. Singer/songwriter Jen took it in her stride and started on her stage career with a powerful rendition of Temple.
Awsome! Hopefully more gigs and other projects will ensue.....
Chris (Engineer and New Web Dude!)
Sex, drugs and Rock n Roll. Chris has been there (too long), seen it (several times) and
done it (far too much). Ex guitarist & producer with CrisisNTI / Ground Zero, nowadays is
heavily into being a dad and being a master of online first person shooters. Rezla rules.
For trivia buffs, Chris and Dave (Ex Eldritch) were in their first band together. Sweet.
Martin (PA and Engineering Purple God)
Martin is quite possibly the coolest and kindest person in the world. Martin has a PA company.
Its Purple ! The PA in question is so good its capable of sonically destroying the world. Martin
provides PA, Engineering skills and complete peace of mind for us at all gigs that dont travel
beyond the planets edge. As is becoming apparent, we love him, hes one of us.
Who (Did what) ?
Dave (Ex Eldritch)
Dave had a van and vampiric tendancies (not a van with vampiric tendancies). He was also a
whizz with stage lights. For those of you who like irony, he tried putting together a
Mission tribute band after his departure, sadly that didnt work out. Hes also a very good bass player and circus performer.
We love him lots and stay in touch. Dave wants to retire to the seaside......In Australia.
Dave has done another stint for us but as indicated above is ultimately heading for the other side of the world we,
wish him all the best.
Rob (Ex Guitars)
Rob did a few gigs, did and said lots of strange things, dropped out of university, quit
his job, moved to America and married a young lady that no-one knew about and nobodys heard
from him since.
Still no sign.
Keith (The 12 String Sludger)
Keef uses the most powerful computers known to mankind to produce
stunning visual effects for Hollywood movies.
Keef works in London and L.A. Keef holidays in Hawaii. Keef loves
Hawkwind. Keef still plays guitar.
